JOB DESCRIPTION:
TECH PUB DELIVERY SPECIALIST
FULL TIME/PART TIME/ON-CALL: FULL TIME
10/02/2009 THRU 04/02/2010
WORK HOURS: 7:00 - 3:30

JOB DUTIES:
Update the electronic library using PostScript files from delivered ¿Paper¿ technical orders, all Infolinker .rul files are unique and used to generate links for individual volume. The individual is also responsible for Indexed Portable Document Format (IPDF) library maintenance and completion of on-time monthly deliveries. Candidate will perform duties in the role of electronic final production maintaining the existing ADOBE IPDF.

JOB SKILLS: In-depth knowledge of DocMaestros Infolinker, Adobe Acrobat Suite and an advanced skills in writing .rul files for hot spotting in a .pdf format. A working knowledge of postscript (.ps) is needed. The applicant also needs an in-depth working knowledge of UNIX, WinNT, Win2000, and MS-Dos Batch process programming. Position requires a working knowledge of multiple publishing systems. Must be able to write .rul file and creating internal and external links. Need strong analytical skills with ability to apply technical knowledge to solve day-to-day problems. Candidate should have the ability to work well in a team environment, as well as effectively perform tasks independently.
