US Citizens or Green Card holders only apply. <br /><br /><br />Position Details<br />The chosen candidate serves as the systems integration leader for the 787-9 platform reporting to 787-9 platform Chief Engineer. Key areas of responsibility of this position are: <br />Driving requirements from the Specification Control Drawing (SCD) level received from the customer to the detailed component level. <br />Ensuring that the requirements received from the customer are at the tier 3 level, are validated and are verifiable at the tier 3 level. <br />Driving the planning and implementation for the facilities that will be required for the verification efforts from the component level to the tier 3 system level. <br />Driving the creation of a verification plan that will support the certification requirements of the program. <br />Driving closure to system level trade studies.<br /><br /><br />Responsibilties<br />Responsible decomposing Customer integration SCD to SIRD (System integration requirements document) to SRD. <br />Ensures that the requirements received from the customer are at the tier 3 level, are validated and are verifiable at the tier 3 level. <br />Responsible for and drives the creation of the verification methods and plans <br />oEnsures the verification method is performed at the lowest level possible <br />Ensures verification goals are met on schedule and to cost <br />Manage the status and forecasted success of verification level metrics <br />Ensures test facility requirements are identified and in place to support program requirements <br />Ensure test planning and execution to support verification plan objectives <br />Coordination of system level trade studies <br />Manages across IPT process requirements <br />Focal point for system simulation coordination across sub-systems and with the customer <br />Risk Management (System or sub-system level) <br />Development / maintenance of technical risk analysis methods, gap closure plans <br />Drive technical risk mitigation plans to closure and communicate risk status to management<br /><br /><br />BEST INDUSTRY &ndash; Aerospace/Defense<br />BEST DEPARTMENT &ndash; Engineeringdf-lj More...

Experience
