We need someone from a sales background, not from a structured company. They need to have been in an unstructured entrepreneurial company.
Experience in a consumer products/packaged goods organization.
This position will pay 60 - 65k on an annual basis.

SALES & MERCHANDISING ADMINISTRATOR
Reports to Vice President of Sales & Merchandising
****Degree required
Strong in Excel macros is required
Proficient with MS Office and Access
Prior reporting experience to VP Sales or VP Operations.
Experience in a consumer products/packaged goods organization

Job Responsibilities
1) Sales
Act as main contact point between outside Key Account Reps and internal departments, ensuring all projects and Key Customer requests are responded to promptly.
Responsible for managing the internal Company coordination of projects required by our Key customers.
Responsible for preparing Key Account quotations and assisting VP with costing, gross margin and pricing calculations.
Occasional travel with VP of Sales & Merchandising for customer meetings and trade shows.
2) Administrative
Assist with Customer Service needs as required, resolving issues in a timely and courteous manner
Assist in the preparation process of customer presentations.
Assist Sales Department with account management functions and activity
Help maintain and update customer files
3) Forecasting & Budgeting
Assist sales team in preparation of budgets and forecasts
Assist sales department with budgets analysis and forecasting for accuracy and progress
Follow inventory flow
4) Product
Assist Merchandisers with the correct direction for customer as communicated by sales team for presentation and rollouts with regards to packaging, product, etc.
Communicate with Asia Merchants on open issues and/or changes needed
Assist with major presentation preparation and set up as needed.

Ability to interact with people within the various departments is order to coordinate and gather information to meet customers' expectations.
Ability to be well organized with very good attention to detail.
Ability to take a project or presentation from inception to completion, while monitoring the on-time performance of others.
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and change direction quickly-as business dictates.
Strong knowledge of costing, gross margins and pricing calculations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Access & Query.
Excel Macros required.
Cognos knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge of programming languages of SQL and Visual Basic a plus
Prior reporting experience to VP Sales or VP Operations.
Experience in a consumer products/packaged goods organization preferred
Undergraduate degree required
